MightyDB
Designed in 2008
In 2008, I joined Mighty, a startup in Oakland, CA, to collaborate with former colleagues Dave Kleinberg and Mark Wozniak on the design and development of MightyDB. MightyDB was a pioneering web-based database application development environment, similar to today’s Airtable. My role was to lead the UI/UX design, ensuring that the platform was intuitive and accessible for users to create, manage, and interact with custom databases.
This project required a deep understanding of database management and user-centered design principles to create a seamless experience for users building web-based applications without needing advanced technical skills. Working at Mighty gave me the opportunity to combine my passion for innovative design with practical solutions for data management, a theme that has been central to my career.
